Meet Freddie G.

Freddie G, owner and bowyer

“The wood speaks to you. You just have to be quiet enough to listen.”

With over 40 years of experience in bending wood to his will, Freddie brings a heritage of craftsmanship to every piece he touches.

Starting in a small garage in Michigan to the Appalachian Mountains of West Virginia, his dedication to the “old ways” has made

Black Eagle bows sought after by traditional archers worldwide.

“There is no rushing a self-bow,” Freddie often says.

“You must wait for the wood to season, wait for it to bend, and wait for it to tell you when it is ready.”

This patience is what imbues every Black Eagle Bow with its unique character and potent snap.
